Welcome!
Cloth diapering is a great option for our families, our communities, our environment and for our planet. Getting started with cloth diapers requires an initial investment; something that can be difficult to make for many families, despite the long-term savings this option generates.
Throughout the years, there have been many organizations that have offered cloth diapers to families in need. These organizations serve an important purpose, however, they involve a great deal of work from the volunteers themselves and increase the costs associated with the distribution of the diapers through the necessary shipping to various centers and distribution hubs. Cloth Cooperative takes this idea to a new level; fostering peer-to-peer donation.
Recipients complete the application located on the website and join our closed Facebook group. Once approved, they will be tagged in a thread detailing their needs on the closed Facebook group. Donors are then able to offer diapers and supplies to whomever they feel drawn to donate to.
Our goal is to help families cloth diaper their babies when it would otherwise be difficult or impossible. For many families, despite the long-term savings, it is easier financially to buy a $10 pack of disposable diapers each week, vs. getting enough cloth diapers to start.
